A new hypermarket of the “Globus” retail chain for 6 bln roubles ($94.6m) has been put in operation in Odintsovo district of the Moscow region




The hypermarket with the total area of 29,000 m sq. is situated in the settlement of Yudino. It includes a restaurant, a children’s playground, a photo- centre, a textile saloon, a laundry.

The new hypermarket will create 807 jobs for the residents of the nearby districts. 300 more jobs are provided by tenants.

To remind you, about 180 years ago a private German shop was opened by the Bruch family. Now it has turned to the international chain of hypermarkets. It got its name, “Globus”, 85 years ago. The company registered its trade mark in Russia in 2006, now there are 13 hypermarkets in Russia.
