On Tuesday, Fucik-Aigi interchange and the Aigi Avenue have been opened to traffic in the Russian city of Cheboksary.

As the press office of city administration told Construction.RU today, the facility was put into operation with some reservations.

So, due to weather conditions, road builders have not completed a number of works, which were rescheduled for the spring of 2017.

Until the 1st of June, builders have to improve pedestrian paths and sidewalks. All work are planned to be completed on account of warranty repairs.

As a reference, construction of the Fucik-Aigi interchange began in September of 2015 and cost 350 million rubles. The length of the road is 2880 meters, including the length of junction – 505 meters, the rest accounts for the Aigi Avenue.
