A summer training camp intended for preparation of Russian national teams in winter sports will be constructed at the foot of Avachinskyi volcano located on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia.
The local authorities had already embarked on design engineering of this unique sports center, as Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the regional administration.
A design contractor has already been selected – a company from the city of Irkutsk. The contractor is obliged to execute planning work by the 15th of July.
A plot of land with an area of 2,8 hectares is allotted for the sports center’s construction site. The training camp will be built 800 meters above the sea.
