Finnish construction holding “UIT” has completed the construction of the “Sovremennik” residential compound in Kazan.
As Construction.RU has been told by the company’s press office, the newbuild consists of 11 blocks of flats, three multilevel parkings and a nursery school. The total area of the development is 73,000 sq.m. The cost of the work on the construction site totals €125m.
To remind you, the work on the construction ground started in 2006 and were to complete in 2015. But due to legal arguments with the municipal authorities the construction had to be frozen for a long time as the authorities did not issue permit for its continuation.
Nevertheless, presently the Finnish company is constructing two more residential compounds in Kazan - «Harmony» and «Green».
