The RZhD company is ready to construct a railway in Indonezia to connect the provinces of Eastern Kalimantan and the Central Kalimantan, Indonezian Tempo reports referring to Indonesian Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi.

Answering the question about the construction of the railroad project from Bangkuang to Batanjung at the Central Kalimantan Province, Minister Budi revealed the project’s slow progress and added that the company responsible for the construction, China Railway Group Limited, has yet to meet him. The minister stated that the project had been included in the national strategic plan.
