Russian Prime-Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, has signed an order according to which in 2017-2018 the “Almaz-Antey” holding becomes the only contractor of the Ministry of Defense’s work procurement on construction, reconstruction and maintenance of the strategic objects providing national defense and security. The document is published on the official website. It goes about development and engineering work on creation of the new types of military and special (stationary radar) equipment for air-space weapon systems.
The holding will also be responsible for performing procurement of design and survey work required for objects’ operation.
“Almaz-Antey” holding also produces mobile air-defense systems including “Tor”, “Buk”, “S-300” and “S-400” missile complexes.
