Eco-friendly wood processing plant put in operation in Tver region

Talion Arbor wood processing plant is put in operation in Semyonovskoye village, the Torzhoksky district, located in the Russian region of Tver, Izvestia newspaper reports on Friday.




The enterprise will release environmentally friendly oriented strand boards.

The plant is the second phase of a priority investment project implemented by STOD company in the field of forest exploitation. The first one, Talion Terra, produces veneer timber.

Capacity of the new plant totals 500,000 cubic meters per year. A part of the products is planned to sell on Russian market. Another part will be exported in Asia and Europe, the UAE, Australia and the USA.

Four hundred jobs have been created at the enterprise.
