Rosneft, a Russian integrated oil company, has reduced salaries of members of the Board of Directors, which consists of 10 persons, including the company’s president Igor Sechin, by 16%.
At the end of the year, their aggregate revenue amounted to 572 million rubles ($9,9 million) against 682 million rubles ($11,8) in 2015.
However, a total volume of payments, including bonuses, scarcely altered and amounted to 3,69 billion rubles (approximately $64 million). Bonuses remained at the level of year 2015 and totaled 2 billion rubles (approximately $34,7 million).
It is noteworthy that a similar decision was taken by Gazprom, a Russian gas giant, which reduced the amount of payment to the Board of Director by 9.4%, but retained the bonuses.
