Vice president of Sberbank, Sergey Ivanov, will be proposed as a candidate for the post of president of Alrosa, the Russian group of diamond mining companies, instead of Andrei Zharkov.
This statement was made today by RF Presidential Envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yury Trutnev, at the Russian investment forum in Sochi. Meanwhile, the current head of Alrosa, Andrei Zharkov, has already signed a notice of resignation.
Change of the company’s leadership will be discussed at the forthcoming session of the Supervisory Board, which will be chaired by Russian Finance Minister, Anton Siluanov.
We should remind you that Alrosa is the Russian group of diamond mining companies, the world’s largest one in terms of diamonds mining, which operates in Yakutia, Arkhangelsk region and Africa.
