On the 28th of March a meeting between the representatives from Ulan-Ude city administration, Russia, a delegation from Liaoning Province of the People's Republic of China and the Council of Free Economic Zone Investors of Mongolia was held.
At the meeting, the parties discussed prospects of economic cooperation, outlined the priority areas of business development.
The foreign delegations included the heads of major commercial companies, who expressed a desire to develop their business on the territory of Ulan-Ude. In particular, the Chinese businessmen proposed building in the city smart homes, technologies of which are gaining increasing popularity abroad.
Also, according to the foreign guests, they have a capacity to arrange the construction of “smart” greenhouses that will provide an opportunity to grow vegetables throughout the year, even in winter. The products are expected to be supplied to local stores.
