Clouds Architecture Office, a design office in New York, presented a design for a skyscraper, hanging suspended from asteroid in orbit, RIA Novosti reports on Wednesday.
According to the statement published on the website of the Bureau, by placing a large asteroid into the Earth orbit a high-tension wire rope will be installed there to the earth's surface. Fixed to that wire rope, a tower will hung down. Since the tower of a new kind will be suspended in the air, its construction can be carried out anywhere in the world.
Named Analemma, the skyscraper will be divided into several sections for different purposes. It could become the largest ever created structure, which every day would cover thousands of kilometers between the northern and southern hemispheres, including flying over New York in the United States.
