In 2017, Renault Russia, a Russian subsidiary of Renault company, will expand the geography of its exports, having added six countries of the Persian Gulf, and plans to deliver abroad 14,000 automobile bodies.
This statement made the company’s CEO, Andrey Pankov, at the joint session of the Commission at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for automotive and agricultural machinery and the Expert Council at the parliamentary Committee for Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship.
“Thanks to this measure (the support for vehicles’ adaptation to new export markets. — editor’s note), since the current year, Renault starts exports to the Gulf States, to the six countries”, — Andrey Pankov said.
Until the year 2016, Renault Russia delivered cars to Kazakhstan and Belarus, but in 2016, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia were added to this list. In 2016, Renault supplied abroad 10% of cars produced in Russia.
