Vietnam has shown interest in supplies of helicopters from Russia, the press office of The Helicopters of Russia holding reports on Monday following a visit of Vietnamese delegation to the Kazan helicopter plant located in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.
“A delegation from the National Defense Ministry of the Republic of Vietnam has arrived with a working visit in the capital of Tatarstan. Negotiations between foreign guests and specialists of the Helicopters of Russia holding took place at Kazan helicopter plant. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the delivery of civil helicopters to the Republic of Vietnam”, — the press office said.
It was noted that Ansat and Mi-17V-5 helicopters were of particular interest to the Vietnamese delegates. In addition, the Vietnamese party also expressed interest in MI-38 multi-purpose helicopters.
