The Board of Directors of JSC Gazprom Neft, the fourth largest oil producer in Russia, recommended shareholders at an annual meeting to approve dividends as of year-end 2016 in the amount of 50,64 billion rubles or 10.68 rubles per common share, the company’s statement reads.
A total amount of dividends accounts for 25.3% of the net profit of Gazprom Neft, according to IFRS, which by the end of 2016 made up of 200.2 billion rubles. The company notes that it will be a record amount of dividends for all history of Gazprom Neft.
The date of compiling the list of persons entitled to receive dividends is proposed to determine on the 26th of June, 2017. The annual meeting of shareholders of Gazprom Neft will be held in St. Petersburg on the 9th of June.
