In Hong Kong, a parking space was sold for a record price of 5,18 million Hong Kong dollars, that is about 664,300 US dollars, according to Bloomberg.
An area of the parking space is 188 sq. ft (17.5 sq. meters). According to Chinese newspaper Ming Pao, the parking space was sold last month. It is located in Upton residential complex developed by Emperor Investment in 180 Connaught road west, Hong Kong.
The parking space cost more than some houses in Hong Kong. So, a house with two bedrooms in the district of Sha Tin can be bought for 4.2 million Hong Kong dollars (537,600 US dollars).
