Russia sees 14-percent growth of non-resource exports

At present, the growth of non-oil exports of the Russian Federation accounts for 14% against a decline in the previous year at the level of 7.3%, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said at a presentation of the country’s investment potential in Rome.




“We have a 14-percent growth of non-oil exports this year,” Arkady Dvorkovich informed.

Earlier, the Russian Export Center has reported that non-oil and non-energy exports of the Russian Federation in 2016 decreased by 7.3% compared to the rate in 2015. The greatest portion in non-oil and non-energy exports of Russia in 2016 had aluminium and its alloys, semi-finished products of non-alloy steel, wheat and lumber.

A significant share accounted for mixed fertilizers, hot rolled non-alloy flat rolled steel, refined copper, platinum group metals, nitrogen fertilizers, frozen fish, potash, Nickel and gas turbines.
