Armenia is interested in creating logistics centers in the North Caucasus, according to Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toganyan.

“The North Caucasus plays a special role for us because it is through its territory that all transport communications between Armenia and Russia are passing. We are planning several projects, in particular, I have already visited several regions of the Caucasus regarding the creation of several logistics centers”, the Ambassador said at a briefing on results of the presentation in the Ministry of the Caucasus.

According to him, a project is currently being developed to create such centers on the territory of Russia, where goods from Armenia will arrive and then be distributed to Russian regions. In these centers, the goods will be transferred from road to rail transport.
