Pit excavation for the metro station “Nizhegorodskaya ulitsa” started in Moscow

Building “the wall in the ground” (shoring of excavation) started at the construction site of the metro station “Nizhegorodskaya ulitsa” of Moscow metro’s Kozhukhovskaya line. 




As Construction.ru was told by the Moscow Construction Department press-service, the engineering communications outlet from the construction zone is complete. The new station is situated at the crossing of Ryazansky avenue and the Smaller Ring of the Moscow railway. There will be two parallel platforms for two lines.
According to Andrei Bochkarev, Head of the Moscow Construction Department, together with Russian designers and engineers Spanish specialists are taking part in designing the second section. Tunnels from the station “Kossino” to “Nizhegorodskaya ulitsa” will have two railways, and the stations will be of the side-type design. The total length from the station “Nekrassovka” to “Nizhegorodskaya ulitsa” will be 15.2 km.
