On the 6th of March, the European gas transportation operators will conduct an auction for new land capacities on the territory of Germany, including those for gas intake from a new main pipeline Nord Stream 2.
This is what was announced by More Capacity platform, which unites the following companies: Fluxys Deutschland GmbH, GASCADE Gastransport GmbH, Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH, NEL Gastransport GmbH and ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH.
The auction will be held on PRISMA, a European planform for capacity trade. The process of determination of demand for new capacity was launched in summer 2015. Over the course of the research, non-binding bidding applications of the market actors have been collected and afterwards converted in specific offers on network expansion in Gaspool trade zone.
