For the successful and timely completion of the World Cup 2018 stadium’s construction in Kaliningrad, the representative of the general contractor, “Crokus International”, Araz Agalarov, has asked the authorities to give him permission to recruit 1000 more Turkish workers.
As LifeNews reported, the head of the company has addressed a corresponding letter to the governors of the Rostov and Kaliningrad regions.
It refers to such professions as storekeeper, assembler, electrician, finisher, welding operator, steel fixer, concrete worker, and plumber.
The Ministry of Social Policy of the Kaliningrad region has supported the initiative of “Crokus International” and explained that a workforce with such specializations isn’t available in the region. However, is it really so?
To remind you, the building contractors in Rostov-On-Don and Kaliningrad are “SMU-161”, OOO “SK GERUS”.
Previously, “Crokus International” had applied for an increase in the Turkish worker quota, but this request wasn’t approved.
Meanwhile, the Turkish citizens who concluded employment agreements before December 31, 2015, continue their work as usual.
