Due to the repairs to Rovno NPP being completed, Ukraine has completely stopped importing electric power from Russia.

The press office of the National Energy Company ‘Ukrenergo’ has talked about this with the mass media. At the same time, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Vladimir Demchishin, announced that he intends to suggest the prolongation of electrical energy delivery to Crimea for 2016 to the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers. He spoke about this at a sitting of Verkhovna Rada. To remind you, electricity imports from the RF were restarted at the beginning of November. Before that, the parties had agreed on providing a reliable and continuous energy supply to Crimea, which is still 70% dependent on Ukranian electricity.
