The “KAMAZ” holding, jointly with the German company Daimler, has started construction of a new plant producing cabins in Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan.
As announced in the company’s press release, the production of the cabin’s shells and their painting will be carried out at the “KAMAZ” plant.
Yesterday the director general of “KAMAZ”, Sergey Kogogin, visited the construction site of the new enterprise in Tatarstan. A member of the Daimler Board of Directors, Wolfgang Bernhard, and managers of the joint enterprise “DK RUS” also visited the site.
To remind you, Daimler and “KAMAZ” have been successfully cooperating since 2008.
“KAMAZ” is a Russian truck manufacturer located in Naberezhnye Chelny. It has been operating since 1976 and is today the largest truck producer in Russia and the CIS. Its heavy duty models are exported worldwide.
