10 poles have been installed at the construction site of the Kerch bridge and 69 more are under construction. Over 600 piles have been driven in and 115 are put at the sea bottom at different depths.
This is what the press office of the Transport Ministry of Russia told Construction.RU on Friday. Meanwhile, it was specified that over 4,3m tons of construction cargos have been supplied to the construction site.
25 heavy-weight building cranes, 10 floating cranes, 130 units of road construction machinery and other equipment are operating uninterruptedly. Maximum intensity of the Kerch bridge construction is planned to be reached by the summer.
Up to 7,000 builders will simultaneously work there at eight sites. Meanwhile, over 2,300 workers of different specialities participate in the project realization.
The bridge construction will ensure vehicle traffic in the standard operating mode within the minimum period of time – in December 2018. In 2019 train movements will be opened.
