In the city of Blagoveschensk, the head of the company providing services in the field of housing and utilities has been detained on a charge of commercial bribery, the press office of the Amur regional department of the Investigative Committee told Construction.RU.
According to investigators, on the 25th of May in Blagoveschensk, an entrepreneur personally handed over 3m roubles to the representative of one of the suppliers. He demanded that an agreement be made with his company on the assignment of the rights of debt demand.
Operatives from the Federal Security Service (FSB) department of the Amur region have fixed the moment of the bribe being handed over. The suspect has been detained and placed under home guard.
A criminal case under the Russian Criminal Code article №204 regarding commercial bribery has been initiated against the man. At present, investigators are establishing the circumstances of the crime.
