This morning, agents of the Federal Security Agency of Russia (the FSB) and operatives of the Russian Investigative Committee conducted sweeping searches in the headquarters of the Russian Authors’ Society, located on Bolshaya Bronnaya Street.
Offices of the Society’s top executives have been especially thoroughly searched, where the FSB agents have seized documents in large amounts, the Life reports. Operatives were working on the scene wearing uniforms and masks.
The building was blocked and the representatives of the Russian Authors’ Society were not let out of it. According to the available data, these are the investigative actions conducted over the criminal case related to corruption.
Given that the FSB agents are involved in the operation, one can assume that the issue concerns high-ranked officials.
