Today, the International conference entitled “Market of Paving Slabs in Russia 2016” was held in the World Trade Center in Moscow.
As our special correspondent, Yevgeny Gorchakov, reported from the ground, the forum was organized by the Association of Producers of Small Piece Concrete Products. Its participants discussed the tendencies of the industry’s development and growth points under the conditions of falling market.
One of the burning issues, considered by the representatives of the companies producing paving slabs, was the actualization of 17608-91 All-Union-State-Standard. It regulates technical conditions of concrete paving slabs production.
In the opinion of the event’s participants, this All-Union-State-Standard is obsolete and requires changes stimulating the market development.
Also, the projects of leading architecture studios have been examined over the course of the conference, and the manufacturers told about the new technologies of high-quality paving slabs production.
