Contractors don’t want to take on reconstruction of approximately 300 buildings with the funds offered by the authorities of the capital city of Russia, Moscow Mayor, Sergey Sobyanin, said in an interview to “Govorit Moskva” radio station.
“This year about 2,000 buildings will be repaired and several hundred of them will be completed by the end of the year. For approximately 300 objects, which we put out to tenders for overhaul works, we haven’t found contractors. They don’t want to engage in the project at the prices we offer. We hold public tenders, but nobody wants!”, - said Sergey Sobyanin.
Apart from that, Moscow Mayor noted that overhaul of facades, as well as lifts replacement are financed from the city budget.
