Sweden IKEA, having faced troubles at implementation of the project of a mall construction in Mytishchi, the town near Moscow, begin to consider alternative platforms in north-eastern Moscow, director general of IKEA Centres Russia, Milen Genchev, told reporters on Thursday.

He specified that the search for new platforms didn’t mean the company’s refusal from its project in Mytishchi.

“At present, we consider alternative platforms in Moscow, including the completed facilities,” Milen Genchev said. According to him, this is connected with quite a durable project approval process, as well as with large amount of investments required to be made into infrastructure around the mall.

“We are still interested in this project, but the existing troubles connected with approval process force us to consider alternative platforms,” noted director general.
