Governor of the Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov, held a successful meeting within the framework of “Golden Autumn 2016” agricultural and industrial exhibition, having signed an agreement with Sergey Yashkunov, a representative from “EkoProdukt” Greenhouse Complex LLC, reports Pobeda26 on the 5th of October.
According to the document, in the years 2017 – 2018 greenhouse production with a total area of 20 hectares will be established in the Stavropol region, a federal subject of Russia located in the North Caucasian Federal District.
Cucumbers, radish, greens, tomatoes will be produced at the enterprise. About 10,000 tons of products are expected to be output. New project will provide employment opportunities for 250 people.
Earlier the local media reported that governor Vladimir Vladimirov signed a similar agreement with another greenhouse complex, providing construction of the third phase of vegetable production in the near future.
