Construction of two major plants launched in SEZ Alabuga

On Monday, President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, is to take part in an official ceremony of two new plants construction start on the territory of Special Economic Zone Alabuga.




As the press office of Tatarstan’s President told Construction.RU today, the enterprises belong to IGS Agro and August-Alabuga companies. As a reference, IGS Agro is engaged in production of composted fertilizer and champignons.

Also, Rustam Minnikhanov plans to hold a meeting of the SEZ Alabuga’s Supervisory Council, which will consider applications of four new companies for a resident status in the Special Economic Zone.

Investments will amount to 1,5 billion roubles. The phase one of the complex will release 3,600 tons of champignons and 40,000 tons of composted material per year. The enterprise is scheduled to be put in operation in September 2017. This complex will become the largest one in Russia.
