Moscow regional Urban Construction Committee has agreed a concept of construction of shop under IKEA Swedish brand in the area of a rural settlement Sovkhoz n.a Lenin situated in the Lenin district, the press office of a Deputy Head of regional government, German Yelyanyushkin, announced on Wednesday.
The store will become the fourth IKEA’s trading site on the territory of the Moscow region and the first detached store in Russia.
A 9 hectare plot of land located at a junction of the Moscow Ring Road and Kashirskoye highway. Investor plans to put in operation a store with a total area of 36,000 square meters in the second half of 2018. Over 400 new jobs are expected to be created at the enterprise.
