The Russian Railways JSC plan to set up a network of multiservice centers at railroad stations throughout the country, “Izvestia” newspaper reports on Wednesday.
Passengers will get a possibility to pay public utilities bills, fines, taxes, pay back a loan or buy tickets to cinema.
Similar project of multiservice centers at railroad stations has already been realized in the Russian region of Nizhny Novgorod. As the press office of the Russian Railways said, in case this project turns to be successful and services provided in multiservice centers are in demand, such facilities will be established in other cities of Russia.
At present, the Russian Railways is considering to add up additional services to the list, such as drawing-up of the foreign passport and other.
