The General Board of State Expert Review approved a project for reconstruction of barracks of the 19th century in St Petersburg. The facility will be converted into a hotel, the Board’s statement reads.
The barrack complex of Leib Guard of the Pavlov regiment is located near the Marsovo Polye and consists of six united bulks. The object is a monument of federal significance.
A projected hotel will have five storeys, including a basement and mezzanine floors. A total area of the facility will amount to 43,995 square meters, where 108 rooms for 244 guests, an underground parking lot for 97 cars, fitness and health center with swimming pool will be created.
