In 2017, Evraz, a steel making and mining company headquartered in London, expects to supply about 200,000 tons of hundred-meter rails to the Russian Railways JSC, president of Evraz, Alexander Frolov, said during a phone conferencing.
“In 2017, we are going to supply about 200 thousand tons of hundred-meter rails to the Russian Railways. This volume is very close to that which the Russian Railways purchases from Mechel, perhaps a little less,” – Alexander Frolov said.
“In this case, there is no restrictions on our part, the restrictions are related to the fact that the Russian Railways have limited welding capacities for hundred-meter rails, but we are ready to supply more,” he added.
