Hermitage Group, a company owned by Russian businessman Emin Iskenderov, which planned the construction of two skyscrapers in a business suburb of Paris, has not yet attracted funding for the project, Le Figaro reports.

The estimated investment in the project totals €2.9 billion.

Hermitage Group has not received loans for the construction yet, the newspaper notes. In addition, Hermitage Group has not signed an agreement with Epadesa state company, which obtains the rights to develop the area within La Defense quarter, where the skyscrapers construction is planned.

The Hermitage Plaza project involving the construction of two skyscrapers in the Parisian business suburb of La Defense was unveiled in 2007.

The idea of the project belonged to the former head of Mirax Group and former business partner of Emin IskenderovSergey Polonsky, who is currently on the dock in Russia on the accusation of a fraud.
