A tender for the design of tram lines in the section of “The 3rd Vladimirskaya Street — Ivanovo region” located in the east of Moscow has been announced, the press office of the Moscow Construction Department said on Wednesday.
“The tram line will ensure a transport communication for residents of the Ivanovo district, as well as uninterrupted communication between the stations on the Kalininskaya and Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya metro lines”, — the head of the Department, Andrey Bochkarev, said.
The approximate length of the tram line amounts to 4 km. It will include four ground stops with platforms, terminal depot, traffic circle with lay-out of tracks.
The tram tracks should allow for movement of 40 vehicles per hour in one direction with a maximum speed of 75 km per hour.
