Governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, and Director General of Philips Russia, Arman Voskerchyan, signed on Thursday an agreement on localization of the production of innovative ultrasound systems and CT scanners under the brand of Philips in the city of Istra.
The deal was concluded on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“Philips is a known Dutch company. We have signed an agreement on localization of the production, that is ultrasound devises, CT and MRI in the future. A modern diagnostic equipment will be produced in Istra. As early as the third quarter this year, the Russian equipment under this brand will be available on the entire territory of the Russian Federation”, - the Governor said.
