Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the government of St. Petersburg, Russia, signed on Thursday an agreement of intent on the implementation of an investment project for the construction of M-49 motorway and Suzdalsky Prospect, the bank’s press office reports.
The document was signed within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The project period covers 2017-2027 years. The planned volume of investments of EDB in the project exceeds 14 billion rubles ($247 million).
According to previously developed plans, M-49 toll motorway is designed to run from Primorskoye highway to a junction with another toll motorway – the Western High-Speed Diameter (WHSD). The project also provides for construction of a crossover junction through railway lines of Sestroretsk direction.
