Ekobase Global, a Slovenian company, will build a factory producing LED-based lighting equipment with intelligent control system in the Ulyanovsk region, Russia.
As the head of the regional Development Corporation, Sergey Vasin, told reporters on Tuesday, the foreign investor has received a status of a resident of the Free Port Special Economic Zone in the Ulyanovsk region.
The project’s implementation will be carried out in several stages. The first one provides for the establishment of production facilities in a completed building located in the SEZ’s territory.
A total amount of investment in the project is 300 million rubles, and in the future, it is expected to be doubles. Some 500 jobs will be created at the enterprise.
