The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic plans to supply coal to Turkey and Europe, the head of DNR Alexander Zakharchenko announced, Rambler News reports on Thursday.
Mr. Zakharchenko made this statement during the Direct Line with residents of Donbass broadcasting via local TV channels.
“There is a problem with the surplus of coal. First, it is due to the economic blockade imposed by Kiev. Before that, we sold coal to Ukraine. The second problem is the introduction of external management at enterprises of Rinat Akhmetov (a Ukrainian businessman. – editor’s note). At present, we have found new contracts and signed contracts with many countries of Europe, and not only with Europe, but with Turkey as well”, Alexander Zakharchenko explained.
