The seventh mosque has been erected in a so-called New Moscow, which includes the region recently adjoined to the capital city of Russia.

The new religious building is located in the vicinity of Buninskaya Alleya metro station, on a privately owned plot of land.

The new mosque is capable to house up to 1,000 people. At present, finishing work is being completed, but a minaret has not been built yet.

We should remind you that in September 2015, Europe’s largest mosque was opened near Prospekt Mira metro station in Moscow after the restoration. Apart from that, Historical Mosque, Memorial Mosque, two mosques in the Otradnoye district and a mosque at the residence of Iranian ambassador operate in the capital city of Russia.
