The American chain of McDonald's fast food restaurants intends in 2018 to keep last year's pace of opening new outlets.
This is what Khamzat Khasbulatov, chairman of the board of directors of the company’s subsidiary in Russia, told the media on Thursday. According to him, this year 40 new McDonald's restaurants will open, whereas, in 2017, 41 outlets were opened.
Also, he has noted that during this year it is planned to complete the renovation of the entire line of restaurant chains, implying the introduction of new technologies, digital menus and the creation of new interiors.
At the same time, Khasbulatov has stressed that new restaurants will be opened in those cities where the company is already present. First of all, the matter concerns Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, and Rostov, where there is a great potential for expansion.
