A delegation of the Belgian city of Antwerp has arrived in Moscow to familiarize themselves with the most interesting architectural projects of the Russian capital, RIA Novosti reported on Friday.

The delegation consists of both businessmen and representatives of the city administration, including the chief architect of Antwerp, Christian Rapp. In particular, Mr. Rapp visited a construction site of Zilart residential compound, which is being built in Moscow on a plot of 65 hectares. This project is the largest in Europe for the comprehensive reorganization of the urban environment. In this residential complex, located in the Danilovsky district, over 1.5 million square meters of real estate is being built.

According to Sergei Tchoban, head of an architectural bureau working on the project, when designing a residential compound, an emphasis was placed on continuity with constructivist architecture. This, first of all, was expressed in laconicism and expressiveness of the composition.
