The fire in a high-rise building of Trump Tower business center in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, has been extinguished, Vesti.az reports on Saturday, citing deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Etibar Mirzoyev.
According to Mirzoyev, at present, specialists are determining causes of the fire. He said that the fire was extinguished just in 3 hours because of difficulties with the delivery of heavy equipment to the scene of the incident. In addition to traffic congestion, part of the routes were blocked due to the holding of Formula 1 competition. For these reasons, there was the lack of water required for extinguishing the fire.
He also added that 25 units of equipment and about a hundred rescuers were involved in putting out a fire.
