Last year the number of foreigners living in Russia decreased by more than a million.
Konstantin Romodanovsky, Head of Federal Migration Service (FMS), announced it at a press-conference in Moscow. According to him, since the beginning of the year 10.6 million foreigners have entered the RF (11.2 million last year), and 9.4 million people left Russia (last year – 8.8 m). The biggest number of foreigners are from Uzbekistan (2.2 million people), from Ukraine (1.6 million, refugees not included) and Tadjikistan (1 million).
