An auction for the selection of a contractor to carry out construction and assembly activities at the railway section bypassing Ukraine is to be held on April 28, a statement published on the public procurement website reads.
The initial (maximum) contract price totals 1,084 billion rubles, including VAT, that is approximately $19 million. The contractor will have to perform the works of the first phase of construction of Prokhorovka-Zhuravka-Chertkovo-Bataisk railway line, as well as to build a double-track electrified railway at the section of Zhuravka-Millerovo located in the area of southeastern and North-Caucasian railways.
Applications for participation in the auction are submitted until the 25th of April. The customer is JSC RZDstroy, a company under the jurisdiction of the Russian Railways.
