Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree granting Russian citizenship to Ukrainian billionaire Eduard Shifrin and his daughter Sofia Rosa.
The corresponding document was published today on the official website of legal information. It says that Eduard Shifrin was born in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk on the 12th of July 1960, and his daughter was born on the 6th of May 2000 in Great Britain.
According official data, in Soviet era, Eduard Shifrin graduated from Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, PhD in Technical Sciences. He is a co-founder of Midland Group holding company, which deals with real property, agriculture, metallurgical production. In Russia the company owns residential and commercial property.
