The authorities of the Moscow region in Russia plan to build a multi-functional sports and recreation complex with a total area of 85,000 square meters on the territory of the former military base in the town of Dmitrov, the press office of a Deputy Chairman of the Moscow regional government, Herman Yelyanyushkin announced on Friday.
The facility will be located on a 3-hectare territory on the Bolshevistskaya Street. It includes a three-star hotel with a restaurant (19,300 square meters), a facility for aquatic amusements with a swimming pool, spa and fitness centers (18,400 square meters), sales outlets (5,000 square meters), as well as a ground-based parking.
According to Herman Yelyanyushkin, several years ago, this plot of land housed a military base, which at present requires redevelopment.
