The monument to the first President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, will be installed in the Russian city of Ulyanovsk this summer, the press office of the Ulyanovsk region’s government told Construction.RU on Friday.

The initiative to erect the monument belongs to Vietnamese province of Nghe An, a homeland of Ho Chi Minh.

“This will be a big, massive monument. The height of a bronze statue only, which was designed by our famous sculptor Oleg Klyuyev, will amount to 5 meters, the pedestal will be 3.5-meter high. The monument will be cast in Tolyatti,” Interfax news agency cites its source in the Ulyanovsk regional government.

At present, an extensive landscaping of surrounding area is being carried out.
