On March 31, an unusual arena will appear in Moscow with an area of over 1,000 square meters, where children will be able to compete in e-sports, Russian media reported on Wednesday with reference to the developer.
Children's E-sports Arena will be located in the Central Children's Store — a huge mall housing 100 of various shops. The building is situated on Lubyanka Square which is about kilometer north-east of Red Square. Investments in the construction of the facility exceeded $1 million.
As noted in a message of Gals Development, the owner of the shopping center, the facility will be the first complex of this kind in the center of the Russian capital. It is planned that regular e-sport tournaments, including international ones, will be held there on a regular basis.
Round-the-clock broadcasting will be conducted from a specially arranged streaming studio. The audience is expected to be over one million people monthly.
